Having worked for WWE for nine years over two spells, Maria Kanellis has likely seen firsthand some of the alleged degenerate behavior that has gone on behind the scenes. And now, following the shocking allegations made against him by a former employee, Vince McMahon, in a freshly filed lawsuit, she has taken to X to seemingly acknowledge them, saying, “Feeling very grateful today.”
41-year-old Kanellis, along with her husband Mike Bennett, are currently signed with AEW, having joined in 2022 after their time with Impact Wrestling came to an end. It’s understood a WWE return was an option for them at the time, but they opted to join Tony Khan’s promotion instead, and based on Kanellis’ comment, it seems that was an easy decision.
