Machine Gun Kelly is currently on the road for his “Mainstream Sellout Tour” and made a stop in Portland, Oregon last week. The rapper-turned-rocker released his “Mainstream Sellout” album in March, and earlier this year MGK told pop-punk bands that he earned success in the genre. “I know it kills certain bands in that community that I got the success that I got,” he says. “But I earned that sh”t. Dude, I was f*cking loading up the van with our drums and amps in 2010, driving to Indiana and Chicago, playing Warped Tour. I can tell you the fucking Wi-Fi codes to venues in Blackfoot, Idaho. Can you say that shit as a band?”

As reported by TMZ, during the Portland show, an overenthusiastic male fan groped at MGK’s pelvic region when the singer entered the crowd. MGK doesn’t appear to fight back but stands by as security forcibly removes the concertgoer. The fan also grabbed around MGK’s waist and tried to take a selfie with him.

Recently, in the new Machine Gun Kelly documentary on Hulu, MGK addressed his feud with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, which he said was unfortunate. “It’s funny, the whole Slipknot issue (which really isn’t a Slipknot issue, it’s a Corey issue),” he said. “That situation’s unfortunate because I think both of us let our egos get in the way. You know, I was a fan of Slipknot. I was a fan of Corey. That’s why I’d asked him to get on ‘Tickets to My Downfall.’ He obviously had mutual respect, too, because he cut a verse. I kind of tried to give notes back, like ‘oh, you know, this wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, can we try this?’ And respectfully he was like, you know, ‘no.’ And I was like, ‘okay, cool.’ So we didn’t use it. You know, then I heard him on a podcast.”

Taylor had previously said: “I hate all new rock, for the most part. The artists (in quotes) who failed in one genre and decided to go rock… and I think he knows who he is.” MGK continued: “I could have handled it differently. I should have just picked up the phone and been like ‘hey dude, why would you say that?’ But, instead, we all acted ridiculous.”
