Logan Paul Injured During His Match With Roman Reigns At Crown Jewel

Saturday’s Crown Jewel saw YouTuber turned-boxer Logan Paul wrestle in the main event against Roman Reigns. And while many fans wanted to hate the match, given it involved an obnoxious celebrity, it was an excellent match that demonstrated how Paul is a natural in the ring. With the only possible criticism being the match was overbooked with outside interference.

Now though, making the bout even more remarkable is the fact Paul suffered a torn meniscus, MCL, and ACL during the match, which he has revealed on Instagram. Therefore proving adrenaline can get people through a lot of bad situations, as if he hadn’t disclosed this, you wouldn’t know from watching the match.

The ACL and MCL are vital to knee stability and functionality, and it’s likely Paul will need to undergo surgery, and rehabilitation will be a long process. Therefore it seems doubtful he’ll be able to wrestle at WrestleMania 39, which was anticipated. It should also be noted that while most athletes manage to return to their sport of choice, their careers are generally shorter than those who never suffered an ACL injury. Therefore when Paul does return, he may be on borrowed time.
