Logan Paul Addresses Ronda Rousey’s Claim WWE Gave Him Preferential Treatment

While promoting her new book, former UFC star Ronda Rousey has been very outspoken about her time working for WWE. One of her big complaints was that Logan Paul received preferential treatment compared to her regarding rehearsing for his matches ahead of time. And now, while appearing on his brother’s podcast, the current United States Champion has addressed this, saying he didn’t take it as a personal attack on himself.

“I have a lot of respect for Ronda Rousey. Every time I’ve met her, it’s been very amicable. So, when she’s saying that, I don’t think it’s like a personal attack on me by any means. I don’t feel she’s coming after me. I feel she’s maybe using me as an example to express her dissatisfaction with maybe how she was treated in the WWE, but I can’t speak on that because I don’t know how she was treated.”

Many fans consider Rousey’s time in WWE to have been a letdown, with her second run specifically mentioned. In comparison, Paul has wowed everyone with his athleticism and how quickly he has picked up the business. In fact, he has a genuine claim to being the best celebrity to ever step in the ring. Obviously, a significant part of this is because WWE allows him time to prepare for his matches. However, unlike Rousey, he seemingly can connect with the audience far more effectively than she ever could.
