It was recently reported that Liv Morgan was suffering an injury; however, it was hoped it wasn’t too serious. Those hopes, though, were dashed when she and Raquel Rodriguez were stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. And now the WWE star has revealed on the latest UpUpDownDown live stream she suffered a “torn shoulder.” Based on this wording seemingly indicates a torn rotator cuff which can sideline someone for anywhere between 6-9 months, depending on if surgery is required. Hopefully, though, that won’t be necessary.
Liv Morgan, born Gionna Daddio on June 8, 1994, began her professional wrestling journey in 2014. She debuted in WWE’s developmental territory NXT and quickly garnered attention for her athleticism and unique persona. Morgan later joined the main roster as part of the Riott Squad faction alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. Following the group’s disbandment, Liv Morgan embarked on a singles career, showcasing her versatility and determination to succeed by winning the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
