Brian Pillman Jr. departed AEW earlier this year and subsequently signed with WWE. He would go on to debut for their NXT brand this past October under the new ring name Lexis King and looks set to be given every opportunity to become a star like his late father. However, his ex-girlfriend, indie wrestler Arie Alexander, has now publicly criticized him on X for breaking up with her when he inked his contract with WWE.
“the way this man broke my heart, shitted on me, and dumped me when he got signed.. the comment section makes me smile a little bit. still wish him the best tho 😭”Arie Alexander
30-year-old Pillman Jr. began training at Lance Storm’s wrestling school in 2017. This would open the door for him to work for MLW, whose contracts at the time also permitted their talents to work for AEW simultaneously. Once with AEW, he achieved most of his career fame up to this point as part of the Varsity Blondes alongside Griff Garrison. Although before his AEW departure, he was most frequently working as a singles competitor or teaming with Arn Anderson’s son, Brock Anderson, who himself has also recently departed the promotion.
