Lexis King Wants His Fans To Give Themselves A Less Problematic Name

Brian Pillman Jr. departed AEW earlier this year and is now known as Lexis King, having signed with WWE and debuted in NXT. Since then, he has already begun building a notable fanbase with WWE fans online. However, with some of these fans referring to themselves as “Registered Lex Offenders,” there is definitely the potential for issues, and the second-generation wrestler has now asked them to drop the name during his latest Twitch stream.

“Yeah, the Registered Lex Offenders is a little, as much as I think it’s funny, I think that one has to die. Because you know we can’t say that on TV. It’s just a little, you know, I appreciate the creativity, guys.”

Pillman Jr’s big break came back in 2019 when, thanks to a loophole in his MLW contract, he was allowed to also work for AEW. While initially treated as an enchantment talent, he would go on to form the Varsity Blondes tag team alongside Griff Garrison, and the duo was later Julia Hart. Yet, once Hart left them to join the House of Black, they seemingly lost their momentum. Subsequently, AEW decided not to renew his contract, which obviously was a massive blow. Still, thanks to his connections in the business and famous surname, he got his foot in the door with WWE and, after training at the Performance Center, was offered a second chance to be a full-time wrestler.
