Lawyer For John Laurinaitis Claims He Is A Victim

While Vince McMahon’s alleged deviant behavior has been the main topic of conversation over the past week following Janel Grant’s shocking lawsuit, both Brock Lesnar and WWE’s former Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis, were also implicated, with him being a co-defendant. And now Laurinaitis’ lawyer, Edward Brennan, has spoken to Vice, claiming his client was also a victim of his former employer and “The truth will come out.”

“Mr. Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will be vigorously defending these charges in Court, not the media. Like the Plaintiff, Mr. Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out.”

61-year-old Laurinaitis started wrestling in 1986 under the name Johnny Ace, and while he never achieved the success of his brother Road Warrior Animal, he had a notable career in Japan. Then, following his in-ring retirement in 2000, he began working for WCW in a backstage capacity, which led him to join WWE when McMahon purchased the company. Still, his long spell with the company ended in 2022 when he was fired after the initial claims of misconduct against him and McMahon first went public.
