In unfortunate news, Latino World Order member Cruz Del Toro has revealed on Instagram that he has undergone surgery on his arm. The SmackDown wrestler wouldn’t go into specific details regarding the injury, although it appears to be a recent issue, as he competed in a #1 contenders tag team match on NXT and the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal earlier this month.
Del Toro, who was previously part of Legado Del Fantasma, first entered the wrestling business in 2006 and spent the next decade making his name on the Mexican independent circuit while also making occasional appearances for AAA. However, his true big break would come in 2016 when he participated in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. And while he lost in the first round, he impressed the company enough to earn a full-time contract. From there, he became an NXT regular before finally joining the main roster in 2022.
