Latest Update On Becky Lynch’s WWE Contract Following Her Loss To Liv Morgan

It’s been known for several months that Becky Lynch’s WWE contract was expiring in mid-2024, and more recently, it was confirmed that she would officially be a free agent on June 1st. Still, most fans anticipated she would re-sign, especially after her husband Seth Rollins did, although some began to have doubts when she dropped the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan. And now, Fightful Select has reported that as of Monday morning, no new deal has been agreed upon, although discussions have been held.

“As of this morning, Becky Lynch and WWE had not reached terms on a new contract, though the two sides had been in contact. We have not learned if a deal is imminent, or agreed upon, outside of that there hasn’t been a new deal reached. We have also not learned on if it has any bearing on tonight’s match. Lynch’s current WWE contract is set to expire on June 1, at which time she’ll become a free agent unless a deal is reached before then.”

37-year-old Lynch joined WWE in 2013 and debuted in NXT the following year. Since then, her time with the company has been nothing short of remarkable as she established herself as one of the promotion’s most prominent female stars ever, with seven world championships under her belt and a WrestleMania main event. Therefore, it seems doubtful that WWE management would allow her to leave without making a huge offer, although stranger things have happened.
