Earlier this week, it was reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that NXT’s Rip Fowler (previously known as Zack Gibson) and Jagger Reid (previously known as James Drake), collectively known as The Dyad, had departed WWE. And while Booker T has also confirmed this on his podcast, PWInsider.com has now reported that the duo remains under contract through mid-October and are still listed on the company’s internal roster.
“The belief within the company is that they are leaving, but they are still under contract through 10/14, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Currently, they are still listed on WWE’s internal roster, but unless there is a last second change of heart, that will change next month.ā
PWInsider.comFive months ago, the news broke that the Brish duo, who previously competed as the Grizzled Young Veterans, had requested their release from the company. Nevertheless, their requests were refused because the pair were part of Joe Gacy’s Schism faction alongside The Rock’s daughter Ava Raine.
