Earlier this week, Turning Point USA announced that Kid Rock will headline the “All-American Halftime Show.” The event will be streamed on all of Turning Point USA’s social media accounts as well as several other conservative platforms.
“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said in a statement. “We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game.”
“We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” Kid Rock said in a statement. “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible … or is it?”
The NFL’s Super Bowl halftime show will feature rapper Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican-born performer is fresh off a Grammy win for album of the year marking the first time a Spanish-language album as won the award.
Turning Point USA’s halftime show will also feature country singers Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert and Gabby Barrett.
