Kid Rock is gearing up for his “Bad Reputation Tour” which kicks off April 6 and runs a total of 24 dates. Foreigner, Grand Funk Railroad and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening are special guests on varying shows throughout the trek. In a social media video, Kid Rock said he and his team did extensive research and are confident there are no gigs booked at a venue with a vaccine mandate.
Earlier this week, Kid Rock released three new songs including “We the People” which rips social media, the news media, the U.S. president and an infectious disease expert before making a plea for coming together. Rolling Stone reports that some arenas where he is booked to perform require a proof of vaccination or a negative test.
“If you think I’m going to sit out there and sing ‘Don’t Tell Me How To Live’ and ‘We The People’ while people are holding up their f*cking vaccine cards and wearing masks — that sh*t ain’t happening.”

“If there are any venues — I’m not aware of any — they’re gonna be gone by the time we get to your city,” he said. “If they’re not, you don’t have to worry, you’ll be getting your money back — because I won’t be showing up either. If you think I’m going to sit out there and sing ‘Don’t Tell Me How To Live’ and ‘We The People’ while people are holding up their f*cking vaccine cards and wearing masks — that sh*t ain’t happening. It’s actually kind of unfortunate. We scratched Buffalo, N.Y. off the list because of that (and) Toronto, Canada and several other cities we were looking at. I’m not (in regards to vaccines) one way or the other, but I don’t want to deal with that sh*t, either, and I know that you don’t.”
Kid Rock’s new album, “Bad Reputation,” is due later this year. The first single from the album, “Don’t Tell Me How to Live,” was released in November.
