Kevin Owens Seemingly Mocks CM Punk Following AEW’s Media Scrum

Twitter went crazy overnight with CM Punk using the AEW’s media scrum as an opportunity to put others in the company on blast, and among them were EVP’s The Young Bucks, who he claimed couldn’t run a Target store. It would then be reported later that all three men, along with Punk’s longtime friend Ace Steel, would get into an altercation backstage. And while this paints AEW in a state of chaos, it very well could simply be a work to get fans talking, which, if so, is definitely working.

And now the Bucks’ friend Kevin Owens has further stirred the pot by simply tweeting a photo of himself headlining WrestleMania night 1 against Steve Austin. With this being relevant because it’s known that match was Punk’s career goal, and after fans pointed this out following WrestleMania, Punk would even take to Twitter himself to play it down with him claiming to be happy for Owens. Yet, of course, the timing of Owens’ tweet could be coincidental. However, as it’s known, Punk and Owens had a falling out back when they both worked in ROH due to Owens wrestling in a t-shirt; it’s likely Owens knew precisely what he was doing.

While Punk is an incredibly talented wrestler with mic skills few others possess, he has never been popular with his peers, with his abrasive personality often rubbing others the wrong way. So while he may slowly be turning the entire AEW locker room against him, if it work, then he certainly is the right person to put in such a position as his past history makes everything coming out in various reports believable.
