Kane Seemingly Confirms He’s Retired

55-year-old Glenn Jacobs last wrestled in the 2021 Royal Rumble match, yet, there haven’t been any talks of him competing again due to his political career with him being the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, since 2018. And now, in an interview with The Right View with Lara Trump, he has seemingly confirmed he considers himself retired by stating he doesn’t want to get into a wrestling ring and take another bump. This is because he doesn’t know if he would be able to get back up. However, he did confirm he still has a relationship with WWE.

I actually don’t do that much anymore. I don’t want to get into a wrestling ring and actually get knocked down because I don’t know if I could get back up at this point. But yes, I still do things occasionally. For instance, WWE recently had SummerSlam, which is WWE’s second biggest event of the year at Nashville at Nissan Stadium, where the Titans play, and I announced the attendance for the evening.

Kane

While not an official retirement statement, it does appear that the WWE Hall of Famer’s days inside the wrestling ring are over. And those who witnessed his Crown Jewel match where he teamed with The Undertaker against Triple H and Shawn Michaels back in 2018 will likely agree it’s for the best. Nevertheless, thanks to his Kane gimmick Jacobs is one of the longest-running wrestling characters of all time and has had countless memorable moments over the years, even if not all were flattering. Nonetheless, never say never in wrestling, as money talks and DDP Yoga seems capable of working miracles.
