Celeste Bonin, best known to wrestling fans as Kaitlyn, looked set for big things, having won the third season of WWE’s faux reality competition version of NXT in 2010. However, she departed the company in 2014 when she decided to take a break from professional wrestling.
And while she has wrestled a handful of times on the indies in 2018 and 2019 and briefly returned to WWE during the 2018 Mae Young Classic, most consider her to be retired. Yet, while speaking to Developmentally Speaking, she has revealed that she almost made a surprise Royal Rumble match appearance, and it “would be cool to do something at some point.”
“I think it would be cool to do something at some point. I’m in the best shape ever physically now. I actually went not last year, but the year before [to the Royal Rumble], I think. WWE called me to come out. I ended up not doing anything on the show, but I’m open to it.”
Celeste BoninFollowing her WWE exit, 37-year-old Bonin pursued other ventures, initially focusing on her fitness and wellness endeavors, launching her own clothing line called Celestial Bodiez and establishing a personal training business. Still, nowadays, it’s understood that her full-time job is that of a transformational life coach, which, according to her website, helps people optimize their lives by “specializing in movement, posture, and energetics.”
