Kairi Sane’s match with Liv Morgan during this week’s episode of Raw had to end prematurely due to the Judgment Day member suffering a shoulder injury. And now, following news that Morgan is set to miss considerable time due to requiring surgery, the Japanese star has taken to X to say she is heartbroken and “I hope with all my heart for a full and speedy recovery.”
36-year-old Sane, real name Kaori Housako, is currently on her second WWE run, having previously wrestled for the company between 2017 and 2021. At the time of her departure, it was reported she had chosen to leave WWE due to being a newlywed and wanting to spend time with her husband in Japan. Still, at some point, she decided to return to the States, and after re-debuting at 2023’s Crown Jewel, she has been regularly featured on WWE television thanks to being part of the now-disbanded Damage CTRL stable.
