Many consider Bayley to be one of WWE’s most prominent female stars, and considering she is a multiple-time world champion, it appears WWE agrees. However, during a recent Behind The Turnbuckle podcast episode, former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman shared his opinion of the much-loved star, calling her “washed up,” “boring,” and even claiming she’s never sold a ticket. This has obviously seen Coachman receive plenty of backlash from fans, although with negativity seeming to drive clicks and views nowadays, it’s doubtful he cares.
Bayley’s long-term WWE future was recently a hot topic of conversation after she was written off WrestleMania 41 so Becky Lynch could take her spot alongside Lyra Valkyria. This decision would disappoint many fans who felt Bayley deserved her time in the spotlight, and her former tag team partner, Mercedes Moné, even took to X and shared a series of emojis, seemingly suggesting she call her. This would result in some fans trying to claim this was contract tampering, although with it known that the former Sasha Banks and Bayley are close friends, it’s more likely she just wanted to offer support rather than try to persuade her to join AEW.
