Jonathan Coachman, also known as “The Coach,” had two runs with WWE, with his first being far more memorable than his second. And now, having previously blamed Corey Graves for getting him taken off Raw, which effectively finished his WWE career, the announcer has gone on to add Nia Jax as someone who wanted him gone. Coachman would reveal this during an appearance on Behind The Turnbuckle, stating that “She hates me,” seemingly due to wanting her friend Renee Paquette, then known as Renee Young, to be in his spot.
“She hates me, by the way, Nia Jax hates me … Nobody liked the fact that they brought me back. For whatever reason, I’m not going to use the jealous word, it is what it is. But Nia Jax led the charge. ‘Renee, Renee, Renee in Coach’s spot.’ She didn’t like me for whatever reason.”
Jonathan CoachmanIn the past, 51-year-old Coachman has said he was finished with the pro wrestling business due to how he was treated in WWE. In fact, he even did an interview that was marketed as the final time he’d talk about the industry. However, he would not only go back on this but actually has his own podcast alongside Vince Russo called the “Coach & Bro Show,” which covers both pro wrestling and the NFL.
