Wednesday night’s Dynamite saw Jade Cargill go 54-0 after defeating Nicole Matthews. However, after the match, she would be confronted by former NXT and Impact Wrestling talent Taya Valkyrie who laid out her associate Leila Grey, setting a future match-up between the pair. And now Valyrie’s husband has taken to Twitter to congratulate both her and AEW on the signing.
For those unaware of Valkyrie, she has a wealth of experience, having graduated from Lance Storm’s Wrestling Academy in September 2010. Then just two years into her career, she moved from Canada to Mexico to wrestle for AAA. This led to her appearing in Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling and holding the Impact Knockouts Championship for a record 377 days.
