Joey Janela Mocks The Undertaker For His Opinion Of Modern-Day Wrestlers

Joey Janela Mocks The Undertaker For His Opinion Of Modern-Day Wrestlers

The Undertaker appeared on The True Geordie Podcast earlier this week, saying that with a few exceptions like Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton, today’s wrestlers came up in the era of comic books and superheroes. Suggesting they aren’t tough and didn’t have to struggle to get to where they are today. Obviously, this ruffled feathers on social media among fans, but it seemed unlikely any wrestlers would comment.

However, seemingly knowing his chances of ever working for WWE are limited, Joey Janela would take aim at the Ther Undertaker. With the soon-to-be-former AEW talent referring to him by his real name and pretending to agree with him in a mocking tweet.

I 100% agree Mark! Lots of lame marvel geek talk in these locker rooms! If I ever open up a wrestling school before you have your first match you’re gonna have to get in at least 2 bar fights with PROOF! By the way the avengers movies suck

In the past, The Undertaker would keep his opinions to himself to protect his character, but since retiring has been much more outspoken. This has resulted in many calling his views outdated since he is from a former generation. Nevertheless, considering he is one of the most successful wrestlers in history, he is entitled to his opinion even if it isn’t popular with indie workers like Janela.
