Jim Ross Discloses The Proposal Sunny Made Him After His Wife Died

Jim Ross tragically lost his wife, Jan, after she suffered serious head injuries in a road accident in 2017. Obviously, this was a terrible blow to the WWE Hall of Famer, and now he has revealed on his podcast that while he was mourning Jan’s death, Tammy Sytch proposed moving in with him, telling him, “I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom.” However, despite this tempting offer, Ross would turn her down, saying the troubled star “ain’t worth the trouble.”

“I remember her offering she wanted to move in with me in Oklahoma at one time. ‘Yeah, I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom. Blah, blah, blah, and we can have a great time.’ And I thought about it for, like, ten seconds. No way in hell. I mean, I might be naive and lonely and heartbroken, but god damn it, I’ve already been down that road. I already saw what she was all about, and I wasn’t going to bring myself into the dramatic aspect of my life, and I’m sure glad I didn’t do it. A piece of ass is a piece of ass. What the hell? Ain’t worth the trouble. I dodged the bullet there.”

52-year-old Sytch, better known to wrestling fans as Sunny, is currently incarcerated following the DUI manslaughter death of Julian Lasseter in March 2022. And while an appeal was submitted to have her sentence reduced, it’s known that the appeals court in Florida upheld the original conviction. This now means the disgraced former WWE Diva will not be released until September 2039.
