Jeff Hardy was arrested for drunk driving nine months ago. Nevertheless, many people believe Jeff will return to an AEW ring soon, with the case now closed. However, that may not be the case, as his brother Matt discussed Jeff during the latest episode of his podcast and revealed his brother is currently dealing with physical issues. Yet he would also add that Jeff is seeking redemption, so he does not believe fans have seen him for the last time.
It’s not going to be instantaneous. Once again, we haven’t talked about stuff, and he’s taking care of some physical issues that he’s been dealing with right now. So I don’t think we’ve seen Jeff appear on AEW television for the last time. I think we’ll see it again. In what capacity? I’m not sure of that right now. I can’t speak, but I do think he wants to redeem himself. I think that’s very important to him. He’s looking for redemption.
Matt HardyNotwithstanding his most recent legal drama, Jeff is among the most well-liked wrestlers of all time, so it’s unlikely that his fans will have turned against him. Although most will understand if he is done with wrestling, at least for the time being, as his health and mental well-being obviously comes first, as does his sobriety.
