JCW has recently generated a lot of buzz online after bringing in Vince Russo to write their shows, which currently air on YouTube. And now it appears they’re looking to take the company to the next level, with Dave Meltzer on F4Wonline.com reporting that they are bringing in EC3, Joel Gertner, Scott Hudson, and Jonathan Coachman. Additionally, it’s noted they’ve been in talks with JBL to become a full-time performer, which could end up being a big deal, as while he has been retired as a full-time wrestler since 2009, it’s known that the former WWE Champion was in training for an in-ring comeback.
JCW was founded in 1999 by Insane Clown Posse members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope as a hardcore, entertainment-focused promotion tied to the Juggalo fanbase. Initially, it was called Juggalo Championshit Wrestling, with its debut event in Detroit selling out and subsequently being released on video. Still, the name would ultimately change to Juggalo Championship Wrestling around 2007 amid growth, and since then, they’ve been incorporating up-and-coming indie talent alongside big-name legends.
