Three weeks ago, Mick Foley announced on his podcast that he wanted to wrestle a death match for his 60th birthday. His motivation for this is to drop weight, and he revealed that he would like it to be against either Jon Moxley or Matt Cardona. And now, potentially teasing the start of something between the duo, Cardona has taken to social media platform X to say, “3 Faces of Cardona > 3 Faces of Foley.”
58-year-old Foley hadn’t wrestled since 2012, when he competed in the Royal Rumble match, and his last full-time run ended with TNA back in 2010. However, it is known that Foley did come close to wrestling Moxley when he was known as Dean Ambrose in WWE at SummerSlam 2012, but due to the head injuries and skeletal damage he had suffered over his career, he couldn’t get medically cleared.
