Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris Gets Annoyed At Singer Bruce Dickinson During Concert (w/Video)

Iron Maiden are no strangers to onstage incidents, but most usually revolve around singer Bruce Dickinson being upset with someone or some people in the audience.

Dickinson isn’t one to shy away from calling out fans for smoking at shows or if the crowd gets unruly, but a recent incident didn’t involve the audience at all but rather bassist Steve Harris.

Maiden is currently on the road for “The Future Past Tour,” and band has dusted off an old classic for the first time performing “Alexander the Great.”

During the band’s May 31 show in Prague, Dickinson apparently nabbed a costume version of a Roman guard helmet from someone in the audience. When it hit an instrumental portion of the song, Dickinson put on the helmet but then took it off and attempted to put it on Harris while he was performing.

Harris seemed annoyed almost straight away and tossed the headgear off before walking back towards the drum riser. Dickinson then playfully mocked Harris’ reaction. Fan-filmed video of the incident can be viewed below.

Iron Maiden’s tour continues throughout Europe through the beginning of August before the band plays select dates in Canada and the U.S. later this year.
