Pixar Animation Studios is gearing up for the release of “Inside Out 2” next summer. It’s the sequel to the 2015 animated hit film “Inside Out,” which featured the voices of of Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Richard Kind, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling, Kaitlyn Dias, Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan.
“’Inside Out 2’ returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions!” reads a teaser from Pixar. “Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.”
A trailer for the movie was released this week and it features the Ozzy Osbourne classic, “Crazy Train.” The song has been licensed many times including for films “Megamind” and “Magic Mike,” and also the TV shows “The Osbournes,” “The Office” and “The Simpsons.”
“Crazy Train” was Ozzy’s debut solo single back in 1980. In 2023, Rolling Stone ranked the song number six on their list of the 100 greatest heavy metal songs, and it has been streamed more than 500 million times on Spotify.
