The pro wrestling world is currently mourning the loss of Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, who sadly passed away last week, aged 71. When the news initially broke, it was suggested he died from a cardiac arrest, although there was no official confirmation from anyone to verify this.
However, it has now been disclosed via PageSix, which got its information from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, that the two-time WWE Hall of Famer died from acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, and had a history of an irregular heartbeat. Additionally, it was revealed that he was battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia, which is a type of cancer.
Following Hogan’s passing, WWE would ensure his memory and legacy were respected via ten bell tributes on SmackDown, Raw, and NXT. Still, some fans haven’t been able to look beyond his past controversies and political association, making social media a hostile place for Hulkamaniacs and those who just want to remember Hogan’s wrestling career rather than his personal life.
