This subsequently led to considerable speculation, with some even suggesting it could be Vince McMahon. However, a follow-up video has now announced that they are working with MMA coach Izzy Martinez to launch a new company called “Real American Freestyle Wrestling,” which appears to be taking amateur wrestling to a professional level.
Martinez is an accomplished amateur freestyle wrestler, having won the NJCAA National Championship at 157 lbs. with a perfect 27-0 record while attending North Idaho College. However, nowadays he focuses his time on training, and his program is considered one of the best in the nation, having coached 8 UFC champions. Therefore, how Hogan and Bischoff fit into this remains unclear, although it appears they are the money men.
