How Long WrestleMania 40 Night 1’s Main Event Is Scheduled To Last

With The Rock wrestling his first full match in over a decade, it could be forgiven if his tag bout alongside Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes was on the shorter side. However, it has now been confirmed via Fightful Select that, as of writing, the main event is set to go 45 minutes. Whether this includes time for any post-match storyline shenanigans remains unclear, although in comparison to last year, night 1’s main event went 24 minutes, and night 2’s was 34 minutes.

The Rock is well and truly back with WWE, and it was recently reported by ESPN that the 51-year-old Hollywood star has been training in a Los Angeles warehouse with the Scottish trio of Joe Coffey, his real-life brother Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang. Additionally, it was reported that sessions were supervised by producers Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode, with referee Chad Patton also in attendance, with it understood he is currently planned to officiate the main event.
