GoFundMe Launched For Afa Anoa’i Jr.

In unfortunate news, Lance Anoa’i has announced that his uncle Afa Anoa’i Jr., known best to wrestling fans as Manu in WWE, requires help due to a complex cardiac issue. The younger brother of Samu and L.A. Smooth was hospitalized this past Saturday, and after several tests, it was discovered that his heart injection fraction is only working at 35%, and his heart is filling up with fluid every few hours. Therefore, a GoFundMe has been launched to cover his ongoing medical bills, and as of writing, $1,425 has been raised towards a goal of $100,000.

Due to his family connections, Anoa’i Jr. broke into the business at the age of just 13, and after several years working for the family’s World Xtreme Wrestling promotion, he joined WWE’s developmental territory system in 2006. This would lead to him joining the main roster in 2007, where he was famously aligned with Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr., and Randy Orton as part of The Legacy. However, he was later deemed surplus to requirements by the company and was subsequently released in 2009.
