Gabbi Tuft Responds To Claim That “No Trans Will Ever Wrestle In WWE”

Three months ago, Gabbi Tuft, previously known as Tyler Reks in WWE, announced she had been medically cleared to wrestle again despite having had open heart surgery back in 2019. And with it known that the 45-year-old, who transitioned from a man to a woman in 2021, has been shaking off the ring rust in training, she has responded to a fan on X who claimed no transgender wrestler would ever wrestle in WWE.

“I’m saving this… Fuel for the 🔥❤️‍🔥 Mother is coming…”

Gabbi Tuft

Tuft entered the wrestling industry in 2007 and signed with WWE the following year. Initially, she was treated as a big deal in the promotions’ developmental territory, FCW, but this success never transferred to the main roster. Still, it was a surprise when she quit the company in 2012, shortly after debuting a stripper gimmick alongside then-tag partner Curt Hawkins. However, it later came out that she wanted to spend more time at home with her daughter Mia, who had been born the prior year.
