Limp Bizkit performed their first show of 2022 on March 19 in Mexico City. The band debuted three new songs from their “Still Sucks” album — “Out of Style,” “Dirty Rotten Bizkit” and “Dad Vibes,” despite dealing with sound issues throughout the show. Guitarist Wes Borland apologized for the technical problems caused by the onstage monitors. “Not the easiest show to get through due to some monitor issues (but nothing to do with our monitor engineer [Joe Standen] who is an absolute legend),” Borland began and further explained, “When we fly in to one off festivals without a sound check it can be pretty wild! We still had fun and played several new songs for the first time ever. I also used a brand new [Official Jackson Guitars] custom Rhodes V for the first time live. Muchas gracias for all the love we received! See ya next time.”

Durst also debuted a new variation of his “dad vibes” look. He wore a beige jumpsuit and a light grey wig with long, straight hair down to his shoulders and also kept his handlebar mustache that he sported last year.

It’s been an interesting few weeks for Limp Bizkit. Durst was robbed recently when a 30-year-old man walked through the gate onto his L.A.-area property and swiped about $3,000 worth of stuff including a Tesla charger and a violin. TMZ reported that thanks in part to security cameras, all the stolen property was back in Durst’s possession, and the alleged robber was taken into custody. Earlier this week, Snot guitarist Mikey Doling called out Durst for taking rapper “$not” on tour given Doling and his band’s previous history with Limp Bizkit. “Limp Bizkit just posted [dates for] a new tour, and they are taking this rapper kid named $not on tour with them,” Doling said in a now-deleted video. “And I wanted to say to Fred Durst, if you see this video, how dare you, man? … We were friends. We shared drinks, stage, music, all that, and all these years later you take an artist named $not on tour with you? What the f*ck is that, man? Bullsh*t.”
