Chris Jericho is used to hearing audiences sing FOZZY’s 2017 hit, “Judas.” Fan-filled arenas belt out the tune as he makes his way to the ring during each of his appearances in All Elite Wrestling, and FOZZY crowds have chanted along in every concert since the song became the band’s mainstream breakthrough. But Sunday night’s version at the O2 Academy Islington in London, England might have sounded just a little sweeter. FOZZY turned what could have been a setback into a special night for fans with the “Ultimate Fozzy Fan Fest.”

FOZZY unfortunately had to cancel their two preceding shows for a medical issue that hospitalized Jericho. Doctors released him but told Jericho he wouldn’t be able to sing at the final show of the band’s U.K. tour in London. Instead of canceling, FOZZY turned the show into a special event. The band hosted an exclusive listening party for their upcoming album, “Boombox,” and then Jericho hosted a Q&A session with the rest of the band featuring fan-submitted questions. The night concluded with the band playing “Enemy” and “Judas,” with the fans performing as special guest vocalists themselves.

The show also included the opening bands, Stitched Up Heart and The Treatment performing full sets. Fan-filmed footage and photos of the show were shared on Facebook by Dan Butler

“Boombox,” which features the top 10 singles “Nowhere To Run” and “Sane,” will be released on April 15, 2022.  FOZZY recently announced the next U.S. trek of their “Save The World” tour which starts on March 31 in Detroit, Michigan and runs through a May 16 date in Sauget, Illinois.
