Former WWE Wrestler Reveals How Vince McMahon Felt About Brodie Lee’s Passing

WWE’s modern-day co-founder Vince McMahon has never had a reputation as a people person, nor for being the most caring when it comes to talents. And now it has been claimed by former WWE Superstar Viktor during a recent interview with René Duprée that the disgraced billionaire was actually “p*ssed” that people cared so much about Brodie Lee’s tragic death. Apparently, Lee had tried to fit into the WWE family during his time with the company, but McMahon wouldn’t accept him, with it appearing like he “hated him for some reason.”

“I lost a lot of respect for him after Brodie Lee passed away because I heard he made some remarks to people that were not very becoming of him. I knew how much Brodie had tried to really just be a person with Vince and really make WWE his family, and Vince just wouldn’t have it. Like, he just hated him for some reason.”

“I was really surprised at how Vince took Brodie’s death and how little he cared and how much it p*ssed him off that people did care about it.”

Lee, best known to WWE fans as Luke Harper, worked for McMahon between 2012 and 2019 and achieved a great deal of success as part of the Wyatt Family. However, towards the end of his time with the company, he became unhappy and requested his release. Yet, WWE would deny this and actually extend his contract due to the time he’d missed while injured. Eventually, though, WWE would release him on their own terms, and he would subsequently join AEW, where he was fully appreciated.
