Rinku Singh Rajput is best known to pro wrestling fans for his time in WWE, where he competed a Veer Mahaan and just Veer, although he departed the company in April 2024. However, despite wrestling for six years and being pushed as a big deal at one point, it appears he has exited the business, having not wrestled elsewhere since then.
And now, in surprising news, a YouTube video shared earlier this month revealed that the 36-year-old has moved to northern India to become a Hindu monk. Which, if accurate, means he may have given up his wealth and taken a vow of celibacy
While remembered for his dominant matches on Raw and for being part of the Indus Sher tag team, Veer is also famous for his baseball career, having won a pitching contest that resulted in him signing for the Pittsburgh Pirates. This subsequently led Disney to make a movie about his journey up to that point, starring Jon Hamm and Bill Paxton, called “Million Dollar Arm” in 2014. Yet despite receiving positive reviews, it only finished in fourth place at the box office on its opening weekend of release.
