Former WWE Talent Re-Signs With Impact Wrestling

Last month, news broke that PCO, real name Carl Ouellet, had given his notice to Impact Wrestling and was going to depart the promotion at the end of October. Still, after he won the Monster’s Ball four-way at Bound For Glory, it appeared something may have changed. And now it has been announced by Impact Wrestling that the 55-year-old has agreed to remain with the promotion, having signed a new contract.

To many wrestling fans, PCO is better known for his time in WWE alongside Jacques Rougeau as The Quebecers. He is also remembered from that period for his feud with Bret Hart, where he competed under the name Jean-Pierre LaFitte. Nevertheless, he never truly became a star in WWE, and after bouncing around various promotions, including WCW, ECW, and TNA, he retired in 2011. However, in 2016, he returned to the business with a totally new gimmick: a Frankenstein-esque monster, which he continues to use today.
