29-year-old Aliyah has been out of the wrestling spotlight since departing WWE last September, instead focusing on her DJing under the name DJ Nhooph. However, she has now taken to Instagram to wow her followers, the majority of whom are wrestling fans with a bikini photo drop simply captained “Life’s a beach.”
Aliyah, real name Nhooph Al-Areebi, decided to become a pro wrestler after watching a match between Beth Phoenix and Mickie James, and following two years on the indie circuit, would be signed by WWE in 2015. Yet, after failing to become a big star with the company during her eight-year run, she was released in September 2023, which wasn’t a big surprise as she hadn’t wrestled for over a year. And considering she hasn’t taken any wrestling bookings since her non-compete expired some speculate she may be down with the business.
