Former WWE On-Screen Talent Says Vince McMahon Is “One Of The Best People I’ve Ever Dealt With”

While Vince McMahon already didn’t have the best of reputations, his name has potentially been damaged beyond repair following Janel Grant’s shocking lawsuit allegations. Subsequently, many of those who worked closely with him have attempted to distance themselves from him or at least are choosing not to comment. However, during a recent interview, which was seemingly recorded after the appalling claims came out, Harvey Wippleman has called him “one of the best people I’ve ever dealt with.

“I can’t say enough good things about him. And when so many people talk bad about him or say negative things, it hurts me because I know what he’s done for me and my life. And I’ll never forget him for that. So I’ll just say, as far as I’m concerned, Vince is one of the best people I’ve ever dealt with, met, and been privileged enough to become friends with.”

58-year-old Wippleman, real name Bruno Lauer, broke into the business in 1979 and would go on to sign with WWE in 1991, where he worked on-screen as a manager for several years alongside names like Sid, Kamala, Giant Gonzalez, and Bertha Faye. Later, he would become both a referee and a road agent before taking on other backstage responsibilities, with him still gainfully employed by the promotion to this very day in an unspecified role.
