Former WWE Diva Wants Fans To Vote For Her In “FabOver40” Competition

Kara Drew, better known by the name Cherry from her WWE days, has been out of the wrestling business longer than she was in it. Still, if you watched SmackDown in 2007 and 2008, you almost certainly will remember her as the 1950s-style valent for Deuce ‘n Domino, in addition to wrestling names like Natalya and Maryse. And now, in an attempt to win $40,000 and prove she still has it at the age of 49, the retired wrestler is looking for votes from her social media followers in the FabOver40 competition, which is in association with NewBeauty magazine.

Drew broke into the business in 1999, and after catching WWE’s attention, she joined their then-developmental territory, OVW, in 2005, where she would receive additional training. Subsequently, she became The Throw-Backs’s valet, later re-named Deuce ‘n Domino on the main roster. However, despite being regularly featured on television, their gimmick didn’t have staying power, and Cherry, along with Domino, were released in late 2008 with Deuce, the son of Jimmy Snuka, being repackaged as Sim Snuka.
