PWInsiderElite.com has confirmed that Impact Wrestling’s big Chicago surprise for their TV Tapings this weekend is the debut of former WWE star Trinity Fatu aka the former Naomi. This would be Fatu’s first pro wrestling appearance since exiting WWE. We have also confirmed this is not planned to be a one-time appearance and will be the start of a run for the former Smackdown Women’s Champion in Impact.

Naomi had been with WWE for over a decade after signing a WWE developmental contract in 2009 and became part of Florida Championship Wrestling before it became known as NXT. Her main roster call-up would come as part of The Funkadactyls alongside Brodus Clay. Nevertheless, she would far surpass him in terms of fame and in-ring recognition over the years and held the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship twice prior to walking out of the company alongside Sasha Banks.
