Forensic Scientists Allege Shocking Findings In Kurt Cobain’s Passing

Decades after passing from what Seattle-area medical examiners determined was a self-inflicted firearm blast, a team of forensic scientists are again questioning the death of iconic rocker Kurt Cobain. The Daily Mail reports that after re-examining crime scene evidence and autopsy findings, specialist Brian Burnett said: “This is a homicide. We’ve got to do something about this.

Independent researcher Michell Wilkins added: “There are things in the autopsy that go, well, wait, this person didn’t die very quickly of a (firearm) blast. The necrosis of the brain and liver happens in an overdose. It doesn’t happen in a (firearm) death. To me, it looks like someone staged a movie and wanted you to be absolutely certain (Cobain took his own life).”

Burnett has worked on several high-profile cases in the past and has earned national recognition for his findings. However a spokesperson for the Seattle Police Department said they won’t reopen the case citing that a department detective determined Cobain took his own life.

Wilkins also believes that the note found next to Cobain also poses questions. “The top of the note is written by Kurt,” Wilkins said. “It’s basically just him talking about quitting the band. Then there are four lines at the bottom. If you even look at the note, you can see that the last four lines are written in different… the text is a little bit different. It’s bigger, it’s… looks more scrawly.”
