Enzo Amore Comments On The Possibility Of Him Joining AEW

As soon as Big Bill, previously known as Big Cass in WWE, debuted for AEW, speculation commenced that his former tag partner Enzo Amore would eventually join him. However, while speaking to Inside the Ropes, Amore has addressed the current possibility of him joining AEW, confirming that he had previously been in touch with the promotion, but they lacked interest.

“I think a few years ago, I was in contact with them. There was a lack of interest on their end and they were bringing in big Cass, and honestly, no. The answer is no. I’m doing fine in my life, you people know my phone number, if they wanted to get in touch with me and contact me they could.

People know that I’m a draw when it comes to television. You put me on your TV screen, I’m going to do a number at least the first day. It’s on me to keep the train rolling. But I just know that it’s one of those feelings where if you don’t want to work with me, I don’t want to work with you.”

37-year-old Amore, real name Eric Arndt, has been out of the mainstream wrestling spotlight since being released by WWE in 2018 after he failed to tell WWE management about a sexual assault allegation. And while the investigation ended up getting dropped due to insufficient evidence WWE didn’t bring him back because he was not upfront with them. Therefore, at one point, he tried to stage his own return by buying tickets for the 2018 Survivor Series and attempting to get on television but was promptly ejected from the building.
