Wildfires are currently ripping through California, with Pacific Palisades, a celebrity neighborhood and home of wealthy businessmen, being one of the many areas destroyed. Among those known to be affected has been Jeremy Padawer, the man responsible for Jakks’ WWE Classic Superstars line and Jazwares AEW range of action figures, who has now shocked his followers on Instagram by informing them that the flames have claimed his extensive pro wrestling and Pokémon collection.
51-year-old Padawer is extremely well-known in the collector’s community with his graded trading cards and limited edition action figures being the envy of many. Therefore, despite Padawer being insured, many irreplaceable historical pieces appear to have been lost forever. However, people are far more important than items, and thankfully, Padawer and his family are safe and can hopefully begin to rebuild their lives in the coming weeks.
