Eddie Kingston Provides Update On His Injury Status

At Full Gear, Eddie Kingston and CM Punk wrestled a hard-hitting match which clearly took a lot out of both men. Subsequently, Northeast Wrestling revealed on Facebook that Kingston, who was set to appear at their conversion, was unable to due to requiring medical testing. This news caused much concern among fans; however, Kingston has since taken to social media and revealed he is doing OK and will be at Northeast Wrestling’s next show and won’t be missing any time from AEW.

Kingston has been busting his ass since 2002 to entertain fans, and over his career, he has experienced many ups and downs. Before making his AEW debut, he contemplated selling his boots. Still, thanks to fans clamoring for him to receive an opportunity with Tony Khan’s promotion, he would get the chance to show the world what he could do.

In fact, his promo work was so impressive WWE actually reached out to him, but Kingston would decide to stick with AEW. Since then, he has become a featured talent and proven he isn’t out of place when sharing a ring with the likes of Miro, Punk, and Jon Moxley. Had he been injured, it could have been disastrous for his career as he would have lost all the momentum he had built up, but thankfully, that shouldn’t be an issue now.
