In a heartwarming family photo shared by his son on X.com, former ECW wrestler 911, known for his brutal chokeslams, is seen alongside his grandson, who still looks as imposing as ever. The picture was taken on 911’s (real name Alfred Poling’s) 69th birthday and was captioned “Happy 69th birthday to the best dad and grandpa you could ever ask for.“

911 made his name in ECW between 1994 and 1996, having been trained at Larry Sharpe’s Monster Factory. Debuting as Sabu’s handler before becoming Paul Heyman’s enforcer, his massive 6’8″ frame and devastating chokeslam cemented his hardcore status in the eyes of fans. Additionally, he wrestled in WCW as Tombstone and Big Al, sharing the ring with names like Lex Luger, Chris Benoit, and The Giant. Still, he wasn’t pushed at the same level as other big men in WCW, and faded from the spotlight after a one-night return to ECW in 1998, where he put over Spike Dudley.
