Once AEW aired the backstage altercation footage between Jack Perry and CM Punk on Dynamite, most fans assumed the former Jungle Boy would soon be returning to the company. The most popular theory was that he would interfere in The Young Bucks vs. FTR match at Dynasty, which is precisely what happened. And now, a fan has shared footage of Perry on X walking through the crowd ahead of his run-in, seemingly having been on the lookout for him.
Following his part in the incident at All In, Perry was suspended, while Punk was fired. Yet even once his suspension was over, AEW didn’t put him back on television, initially having him sit at home before loaning him out to New Japan. However, it is now believed his time with New Japan is over following his defeat at Windy City Riot to Shota Umino, and he is back full-time with AEW, possibly even becoming part of The Elite.
