Duke Hudson Acknowledges His Shamed Ex-Boyfriend Jake Atlas’ Planned Wrestling Return

In May 2022, Jake Atlas was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly assaulting his then-boyfriend, Duke Hudson, following a threesome with a woman. Reportedly, Atlas was jealous of the attention the woman received from the NXT wrestler and would tear his shirt, scratch his arm, and refuse to leave, resulting in the police being called.

Later, all charges against Atlas would be dropped, but regardless, he has stayed away from the business with his name tarnished. However, he has now announced on social media platform X that he is again accepting bookings, and somewhat surprisingly, Hudson himself would show there are no hard feelings by sending his support, saying, “Go get ’em!

29-year-old Atlas looked set to have a big future in the business, having signed for WWE just a few years after making his in-ring debut. However, he was deemed surplus to requirements when WWE made budget cuts. This, though, opened the door for AEW to sign him, which they promptly did on a per-appearance deal. Yet, unfortunately for Atlas, he suffered a torn ACL during his second match for the promotion, which ended his time with the company premauturly.
