Drew McIntyre is currently off the road for apparent health reasons. However, it has been reported by multiple sources he is unhappy with the creative WWE has been giving him lately and is also dissatisfied with the financial offer presented to him to sign a new contract. And now, it has been spotted that ahead of WWE’s big Money In The Bank PLE event in the UK, he has been removed from promotional material and replaced with Roman Reigns.
The news of the former WWE Champions unrest has previously prompted fans to speculate about McIntyre jumping to AEW ahead of All In in London later this year; however, it is believed that McIntyre’s contract actually expires after this date, making this impossible. Nevertheless, AEW would likely be interested in McIntyre at any time, and it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the 37-year-old Scotsman.
