Drew McIntyre Is Reportedly Unhappy With His Current Situation In WWE Ahead Of Contract Renewal

Shortly before SmackDown, it was reported by multiple sources that Drew Mcintyre was off the show due to an undisclosed health issue. And now, while discussing this news, Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch has stated that he has heard that McIntyre is unhappy with the creative WWE has been giving him lately and is also dissatisfied with the financial offer presented to him to sign a new contract.

There’s been talk that he is unhappy with his current situation in WWE, and I’m hearing it’s kind of a mix of creative and money and what kind of offer he’s getting for a renewal. It sounds like WWE is taking seriously the possibility that he is going to let his deal run out rather than agree to something that he believes is less than he deserves or less than he what he thinks he has coming.

This news has already prompted fans to speculate about McIntyre jumping to AEW ahead of All In in London later this year; however, it is believed that McIntyre’s contract actually expires after this date, making this impossible. Nevertheless, AEW would likely be interested in McIntyre at any time, and it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the 37-year-old Scotsman.
